Located in the heart of McKinney, Pecan Grove Cemetery is the final resting place for many of McKinney and Collin County’s founders. The property was purchased in 1870 by a partnership of five men who owned the cemetery until their deaths. With over 9,000 graves, it is the largest historic cemetery in Collin County. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors. When you visit, please respect those who are here to mourn and proceed quietly.

If you are a descendant of someone who was buried here over 100 years ago, we want to include their story in the history of the cemetery. Please contact us using the form on the Contact page.
